Jessie Hack

Jessie's passion for feeling good in ones own body led her to her love of Pilates. Having been impressed with how swiftly a regular Pilates practice dealt with her faulty movement patterns and thus incorrect posture and chronic pain, Jessie gained her Pilates Mat certification through Polestar Pilates, an internationally recognized Teacher training Organization. With a broad range of performance experience and general enthusiasm for all things wellness Jessie has developed an acute awareness of movement and the mind/body connection which she feels has set her up precisely to become a fitness and wellness instructor. Having dealt with various health issues in the past few years including back injuries and chronic illness, Jessie discovered that Pilates helped to her not only regain her strength but also  to swiftly rehabilitate and transform the fundamentals of her body and all its miraculous systems. She currently works as Head Instructor at Xtend Barre Wellington, owned by ex RNZB principal ballerina Catherine Eddy, where she teaches this Pilates/Ballet fusion class to clients with an broad range of abilities and fitness goals. Jessie has an immense respect for the human body and enjoys challenging what she feels are its imagined limitations in a safe, inspired and nurturing way. Jessie feels passionate about people discovering this in themselves and how this can have a holistic and transformative effect on their lives.
